Created by Alasdair Macmillan, the Celtic Map is a beautiful, intricate and hand-drawn map of the Celtic Kingdoms including place names in the indigenous language of each of the Celtic nations.
The map was hand drawn and painted over a 10 year period and shows the
6 modern
celtic nations. The first language of the map is Welsh but the place names of
each nation are in their native language, namely Breton, Cornish,
Welsh, Irish,
Manx and Scots Gaelic. These and the celtic illumination are very clear on the
prints available.
